Tourist Spots/Attraction

Gunhuban Falls is potential for tourist attraction that is located at the east of the town proper of Bato. About 20 minutes ride along the National Highway going to Bontoc up to the the junction of the road going to Buli and Sto Nino. From the national highway Gunhuban Falls is Approximately 2 kms. This Waterfalls is in Gunhuban River that emties to Tugawihan River. The municipality of Bato has been awarded as the regional winner as the Cleanest Island Body of Water. The area potential for development in which the Local Sanggunian recently declares it to be a Municipal Park that covers more or less 0.50 hectares. Gunhuban Falls attracts local tousist and visitors because of its beautiful scenery and place for recreation like bathing, swimming and diving. The LGU as well as the barangay officials of Buli are providing initial facilities such as kiosk, dressing room and eating tables.

Traditional/Cultural Activity

During town fiesta celebration of the feast of Sr. Santo Nino, Sinulog Festival is often held inviting contingents coming from neighboring towns of Leyte, Southern Leyte and from other neighboring provinces.

Ecotourism

Another tourist attraction is the Danajon Reefs, Dawahon Island is accessible by motor bancas where the MCPI has constructed the building with rooms and toilet for visitors ar tourist. Attractions are recreational such as opportunities for snorkelers and scuba divers to view a beautiful array of sea life and marine environment.
